I had the great pleasure of shooting a wedding with Libby of Libby Ann Photography recently. Not only did I love getting to be part of this couple’s beautiful wedding day, but working with other photographers is truly such a joy. I firmly believe that the best way any artist can grow in their craft is through constant practice, and learning from others who share their passion.

Bride and groom were both adorably anxious while waiting for the ceremony to begin.

One of the fun things about being a second shooter is that you have the opportunity to get images from different angles during the more formal, posed shots.

Could the groom’s parents look any more thrilled?

I know that I’m not alone in this, but probably my favorite part of any wedding is seeing the look on the grooms face when he sees his beautiful bride for the first time.

Sealed with a kiss…

I hope to find some time to come back and share some of the reception shots, but for now I have lots more sessions to review and editing to do!

My faith and spirituality play such a big part in my life, so I could not be more honored than when my clients invite me to be part of their own religious traditions. This was an exceptionally special event as Little A was christened by the same minister who christened her mother. It was truly a beautiful service. You could feel the love that the whole congregation wrapped this new family in as they promised to raise their daughter with God at the center of her life.

I cannot believe how quickly fall is approaching. Halloween costumes and decor have already invaded the stores, which means Christmas goods are soon to follow. Like so many people, I love the holiday season more than any other time of year. Hearing the familiar tunes of Nat King Cole wherever I go, finding that perfect gift that is sure to delight the recipient and making time to spend with those loved ones who tend to drift away during the rest of the year are just a few of the gifts of this special time. It was around Christmas time last year that I took the first steps that eventually led to Constance Elyse Photography and I am amazed today at how far this venture has come. I could not be more excited about being able to share the holidays with my wonderful clients this year, so I am offering a small token of my appreciation to you!

When you book a session to take place between October 1st and November 15th, 2009
I’ll give you 25 free double-sided holiday photo cards!

I am doing some business house-keeping and want to keep all of my great clients and future clients up to date on what is going on with Constance Elyse Photography right now.  August is always an incredibly busy month for me and this year has been no different. As we start to head into fall, it seems there are a million things that need to be taken care of and it also  the most likely month for me to go on vacation (as I am starting tomorrow).

With that in mind, I am not booking any photo sessions in September. I am certainly not taking a break from photography, as I will be completing orders, catching up on editing and implementing some new business practices. Look for more of my latest work to be posted throughout the month!

I will also be posting a special offer for Holiday pictures very soon, so be on the lookout for that…
